50 Cent Says An Old Friend Left G-Unit Records

50 Cent announced that G-Unit member, Lloyd Banks is no longer with the label. In an Instagram post, Fif announced that a new mixtape was coming from Banks encouraged fans to be on the lookout for it, “Independence Day, he is doing his own thing and you know it’s gonna be loaded with bars.” 50 wrote.

50 didn’t mention what may have driven Banks to go solo, but during a 2014 MTV interview, 50 mentioned that his relationship with Banks wasn’t the same after Banks father died, “Alright, he passed away, but you can’t just go home and stay home,” 50 said.
