“Pound the alarm!” The one and only Nicki Minaj will open the highly-anticipated 2017 Billboard Music Awards.
The global icon, who broke the record for female artists with the most Billboard Hot 100 hits, will be joined by fellow Young Money artist Lil Wayne, Jason Derulo and DJ-record producer David Guetta for a nine-minute performance.
Nicki is nominated this year in the category of Chart Achievement Award. The “Fly” rapper won a Billboard Music trophy in 2012 for Top Streaming Song (Video) and three other Billboard awards in 2013 for Top Rap Artist, Top Streaming Artist and Top Rap Album, for Pink Friday: Roman Reloaded.
You can still vote either online or via Twitter for Nicki to win the Billboard Chart Achievement Award until May 21 at 9:00 p.m. ET.
The 2017 Billboard Music Awards airs live from Las Vegas on Sunday, May 21 at 8:00 p.m. ET on ABC.
