DJ Heat

Black Bottle Boys own DJ Heat is a turntablist hailing from New York, now residing in Portland Oregon with over ten years behind the decks. Heat became acquainted with Hip-Hop and DJ culture at the age of 12; from there, his love and appreciation of music only grew. Heat began showcasing his cutting, scratching, and mixing skills at the age of 16 in some of the most well known clubs in the Buffalo area as well as getting picked up by local Urban radio station 93.7 WBLK. DJ Heat’s skills and popularity were further recognized when he was nominated for Northeast Mixshow DJ of the Year at the Global Spin Awards, an award ceremony which honors some of the most prominent DJs in the world. 

In Summer 2016 Heat was inducted as a member of Rick Ross’s elite DJ crew the Black Bottle Boys which is one of the most prominent DJ coalitions worldwide representing Belaire Champagne. Fall 2016 Heat packed up and took his talents to the west coast to join the all-star team at WE 96.3 in Portland Oregon where he continues to further develop his radio skill set and chase his dream.
